Bonus star for longevity. Smells like an old Chinese restaurant that you never get used to. Fried artichoke appetizer is very good. Ribs are average, pulled pork is OK. The problem was the blackened fish, it tasted as though it was blackened with plastic bags. Not great, won't be back

Had the creole which was very good. The collard greens were fabulous. Friendly staff. Comfortable and casual. I'd like to go back and try the Louisiana shrimp

This place has stood the test of time! It is fabulous every time that I go. Dont even think about disappointment here, Be sure to try the coconut soup, the legendary chicken wings, and ANYTHING Jerk! I defy you to be disappointed in this gem of Pompano.

My wife just picked up our usual order of Louisiana wings and steamed rice and veggies. It not same as it used to be and i can't understand why? This was a can't go wrong place to go for 20 years now" not so much" I will give them one more chance in the regular cook was on vacation but if the wings were this bad i can only imagine how the other great dishes have been changed.

The waitresses are a hit or miss but the food has always been amazing I come in once a week and always leave happy the wings are very good on a bed of rice or with the fries the raspberry chicken sauce is amazing and the same with the gumbo.

There's a reason this place has been open forever, it's damn good. Ordered special 1/2 Jamaican jerk chicken w/red beans and rice, huge piece of chicken, nice and juicy inside, and a good crisp outside. Jerk season had excellent flavor. Red beans were also very good, although I prefer a looser sauce on my beans and this was very thick. Service was prompt, staff was friendly. Had been years since I ate here and now I'm wondering why? Won't be years until my next visit.

I've been here three times and today was my final visit. First time I got their chargrilled chicken sandwich which was mediocre, nothing special. Their curly fries are always crispy and hot, I can at least say that much. Then I got their raspberry wings. Flavor itself was nice, never had anything like it, but the wing was small and soggy and they drown them in sauce. So, I had to send it back which I rarely do because they were so soggy it just was not edible. Came back literally the same exact way only hotter. Third time I went today, I got the chargrilled burger which was fine. Every single time I have gone, we have never been checked on throughout the meal, if you want a refill you have to ask for it. Waited fifteen minutes after the meal was over just for a check because the waitress, Justine, was literally kneeling on the ground talking to another table about personal affairs. (Which being a server myself, I understand, but only is acceptable if all of your other tables are being taken care of.) The only reason I kept going here was because my fiancé likes their wings, but him and I agreed it's not worth the terrible service anymore. I'm not going to keep putting my hard earned money into an establishment that just seems like they could care less.

Always a wing favorite but after 20+ years, total disappointment. Rubbery, tasteless wings - no crunch at all - skin actually white on bottom side of some wings. A dining waste and wallet theft Sorry, new owners..

First time here! Went for a pre birthday dinner because my birthday is in 11 days from today! My buddy steve and I shared the wing sampler(16 wings) got 2 sides(collards and beans and rice) and got the desert which was like a toll house cookie cake with ice cream! All delicious!

Food - 5 Service - 5 This place is utterly amazing. Pure and I mean PURE Cajun food. I started out with the Cajun mussels. They were so amazing I went and did the Blackened Cajun ones right after(waiting on those now). Good old fashioned Cajun place. It's near my office as well! Go here, drop everything you're doing and just go here!!!

When I worked in Fort Lauderdale, I was a regular here. Ive had the ribs, jambalaya, most of the shrimp dishes, and most of the appetizers, however what I remember most is the wings. They are probably the best I have had. Prepared just right, meaty, crunchy, and a wide variety of sauces. I am a pescatarian now, so I dont eat chicken, and there are still plenty of options for me there. I wish I lived closer. Highly recommended! If you are not familiar with the area, could be a little tricky to find and if you are on the wrong side of the tracks, it makes it even more interesting :)

FIVE STARS! Excellent food. Great flavors, I think the wing sauces are made in house.

  • Jordan A.

Good, but not great in all areas. Large portions mean a decent value, but food was nothing extraordinary. I did have my hopes up due to the awesome reviews, so perhaps that just set me up for disappointment. I will go back and try something besides the seafood gumbo and see how I like it.

I've been coming here since my mom was pregnant w/ me. If that's not a long time, i dont know what is. The wing sauces are amazing. My favorite is the raspberry... It's so different and delicious! Another great choice is the buffalo garlic. They have a 16 wing sampler that allows u to pick 4 sauces- this is best if u can't decide. Tonight was the first time i had their ribs, and i'm so sad i've waited this long! My husband and i split a rack, and they were tender/fall-off-the-bone and so so flavorful. Their homemade bbq sauce is amazing... I've gotten it on the wings before. Even though we couldn't move, we decided it was best to get dessert anyway. They have a special called the Kentucky Derby Pie, which is a warm piece of gooey chocolately nutty goodness ala mode. My husband had never had this, so we ordered immediately! It was just as good as always for me, and my husband is hooked.

"I've never ate that much!" is what she said. Excellent food and sweet service from this hole in the wall. We had the Seafood Gumbo and Half Rack, 5 wings (with Louisiana sauce) and two sides (greens, of course and Louisiana beans and rice). All excellent. Our neighbors had the wind sampler with like 8 flavors. They loved it too. Price is reasonable and servings size too. Or bill (with the delicious Pumpkin Spice Bread Pudding and a corona) was $44. Def will return when visiting.

This place is amazing!!! Try the chicken gumbo and the rasberry wings. OMG they are so tasty. Make sure you come hungry.

Excellent food, i really like their roated pork and their gumbo. You really need to try their wings as well they are very good. All their sauces and dressings are home made. I've been coming to this place for years now and it never lets me down. Have to try their fried okra!

All I can say is WOW! I wish I lived closer, this place is a hidden gem. We stopped in, my husband has eaten here for years, and was raving about the chicken wings, so he got me all excited about them- RASPBERRY chicken wings? They were awesome! I also had the Caribbean Coconut Chicken soup, incredible, super taste and a big bowl of it, really hit the spot! Price was good, I'd say for the money you can't find better in south Florida, its a really great little place, not in a flashy location, but you don't need that, you need TASTE, and this joint kicks butt in that department! Oh, Kentucky Derby Pie for dessert, try it!

4.5 This place is the real deal. The name and location might discourage a few but it's those things that add character. When you're in NOLA you can walk an hour or take a cab and pray you don't get mugged to eat the best fried chicken in the world at Willie Maes. The name and location again would sway people from going, but those in the know still do it. Chez Porkys is that minus the potential mugging. It is your quintessential mom & pop Louisianan restaurant. Everything on the menu is filled with so much flavor. The chicken wings and special hot sauce are out of this world. I know in Florida there are many places to get chicken wings but there are not many places have the most amazing wings like Chez does. The gumbo is great. Red beans and rice will make you think you're back in the French Quarter and my favorite dish is the Louisiana Shrimp. They used beer to make the special sauce they drip all over the grilled shrimp. It comes with big carrots and broccoli and every bite is better than the last. This is such a hidden gem that has been around for 20 odd years now. If you have not tried it, you must and I guarantee you'll become a regular after you do.

Love it. Got the Groupon and told everyone about it. I like the sirloin steak has a great blackened flavor. Also you get great value with the half rack 5 wings special its 16.99 I believe and comes with sides and salads. Two people could easily eat it but I finished it off myself cause it tasted so good I wish yelp would let people reply to reviews these people think they're professional food critics giving it 3 stars for a great experience with great service.

  • Angel G.

OK, I think my tatste buds either were not working today or based on the reviews am trying to figure out where it all went wrong. I love me some Gumbo but never had it quite like this. Tasted more like Tobasco Sauce Gumbo (should there ever be one) than all the awesome fresh ingredients in a Gumbo that I am accustomed to. The wings lacked flavor. It was simply chicken smothered in rasberry sauce. Thought it would have had a special secret rasberry infused sauce on it. The ladies were very nice and sweet with my takeout. Maybe next time I will try more of a traditional meal. Would def give them a second chance. We all deserve one. Right!?

Best Cajun BBQ in Broward by far and a great value for all the food you get. Staff is fast and nice. They also have Plenty of T.V's so I didn't miss the game.

Went for lunch with my 4 kids, haven't had their wings in 20 years because they closed in Coral Springs. My kids kept saying how great everything was and asked if we could go back. Just goes to show you the mediocre food they're used to. I don't know why I never traveled to this location but it sure made us happy, now if I could only get them to open in springs again. Thank you chez porkys, now my kids are big fans!!!!! Besides Dan loves it & he's always right with the reviews....

It's Chez Porky's. Its a little cramped. Its a little noisy. Its a little packed. I go for the raspberry wings and that is basically it for me. NOBODY does them better. Staff are always cheery and the the food comes out pretty quickly. Ive been going here for many years and nothing about it ever seems to change. When you are doing what you do right, it doesnt need to.

This is my husband and I's new addiction.. A rather unhealthy yet tasty one. The place is tucked away like a hidden gem. Thanks to yelp, one of the best finds. My favorites on the menu: Carribean coconut soup, Cajun mussels, Jerk chicken salad (all their dressings are delish and homemade), Collard greens, Mashed potato w Cajun butter. Hubby loves their ribs that come fall off the bone tender.. I'm yet to try their famous wings. Oh and if you like beer, be adventurous and try Warka, a yummy Polish beer. Enjoy :-)

Yummy yummy... nom nom nom... salivate salivate salivate... I've been coming to this dive joint since I was a little kid and it hasn't changed one single bit, and thats AWESOME! This little whole in the wall cajun style restaurant is ah---- wait for it ---- mazing... The staff has been working there since I was a kid and the recipes haven't changed either... On this visit we had a cup of chicken gumbo, and it was full of rice and chicken and all kinds of spicy goodness. I want the recipe so bad, but I don' think they are ever going to give up the secret. She did tell me there was burgundy wine in there... could that be the secret? Next on to the fried okra... nothing special here just good crunchy okra, not slimy or gross... perfect. My girlfriend had the rice and beans while I moved on to my favorite dish... chicken wing sampler please!!! 4 sauces that are so unique but so good, you'll want a to go order. Don't forget to order the sauces on the rice to scoop up all the goodness. I could just eat the rice and sauce. Wait a minute, I didn't know you could order it that way. Lemon Butter Garlic with olives, Salt Pepper Vinegar, Curry and... drum roll please... Raspberry!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!! Finger lickin' good... wait wrong place... Finally, we topped it off with Kentucky Derby Pie... wow.. Basically a cookie dough pie full of nuts and chocolate chips with a scoop of vanilla. Yummmm!!! I'm full just thinking about all we ate. This place used to have a line out the door when I was a kid, its not as trendy as it was back then, but the food hasn't changed and its not just wings and such. The pastas are great, the mussels are fantastic and there's always a huge board of specials to order from. It's a huge menu, something for everyone and it couldn't be executed better. The only thing I want to know is, why hasn't Guy Fieri found this place for triple D? Whenever I'm in South Florida, I always make a stop here, even if its to get everything to go... A true diamond in the rough!!! LOVE IT!

Tom Douglas and crew are waiting on you! They have 20,000 wings just ready to hit your plate. I'm one of those people who drive food; I live in Miami and Pompano, while a haul, is so worth the drive to enjoy those delicious bar-b-que'd shrimp with that spicey, "warm" hot sauce and a bed of the best rice ever. I know there must be some secret to that rice, my momma made fabulous rice, but this... OMG, it is just great, every single grain can stand on its own - always perfectly cooked. I speak from a position of authority because I know, I have been going to Chez Porky's since the mid-90's. Enjoy and Tom Robbie sent you.

Salt and vinegar wings is all I have to say!! All the wings are great but the salt and vinegar ones are like no other. Rice is delish and their meat is quality. This is a hidden gem that u must try!!

All the food is Awesome. It's been there as long as I can remember. I wish they would clean it up a little but with not a empty seat in the house they probably figure why spend the money.

  • Gary B.

The "corn nugguts' were good. The ribs were really good. But the Chicken Gumbo was great! Even though I ordered spicy hot on the bbq, it was a little mild for me, but they brought me a bottle of sauce that heated things up a bit. The greens were good, but were better when I added the chili pepper vinegar I asked them to bring me. Service was very good. From other reviews, I thought this place was going to be a little hole-in-the-wall, but it actually had quite a few tables and was clean and rather nice.

My friend told me about this place as having the best chicken wings in the world. He did not lie. I could eat their "raspberry hot" chicken wings all day and night. In fact, I imagine that is how heaven must be. Get them and thank me later. Finishing in second place of all like 10 different flavors of wings (I tried them all) was the buffalo garlic. Just an outstanding restaurant with great prices.

  • Lucas J.

OK, the place is in a shady part of town, sort of, but that doesn't keep the customers away. We went for dinner yesterday 12/20/12, for the first time. The food is better than expected. The service was friendly and prompt. And the customers just kept coming and coming, amazing for a Thursday evening. We'll definitely be back to try some of the other dishes. We had the wing sampler with 4 sauces- jerk, salt-pepper-vinegar, buffalo & raspberry. The full rack of ribs was plenty for two to share. Everything was piping hot and fresh. Just as an aside- the photos on Yelp that show a beautiful restaurant interior-are NOT of this place. There are no booths or bar here.

My boyfriend and I thought we would try this place based on all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, our food experience did not match up with most of the reviews. It's pretty small place but organized and appeared to be clean. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgable about the dishes. She even offered to let us taste test anything of interest on the menu. She mentioned that the place was in business for 28 years and made the comment that we must be doing something right. Well we decided to wait until our meal arrived to decide if that was the case in our opinions. We opted to taste test the gumbo and coconut soup. The gumbo wasn't your typical gumbo. We weren't impressed. I agree with another review about the tabasco sauce taste in the gumbo. However, we kept an open mind and decided to order other things from the menu. I tried the chargrilled teriyaki sirloin steak with rice and veggies. My boyfriend decided to try the baby back ribs, with collards. My sirloin was cooked decently, it was tender. The vegetables and rice were okay. I tried his collards and they were not very good. They didn't have the true southern taste to which we are accustomed. You could barely taste the greens for the overwhelming vinegar taste. Also I am use to collards which have been cooked with meat for a nice seasoned taste. My boyfriend didn't care for the ribs either. They were a bit fatty and he noticed they tasted as if they were parboiled and not grilled. If you have had true homestyle Louisiana gumbo, or collard greens or ribs southern style, this is not the place for you because your expectations will be higher than this place can deliver. Obviously we did not have the best opinion of the food, but the wait staff was nice. But we could get a better experience at home.

I know it sounds like Groundhog Day, but I have been going here for years. The decor hasn't changed much and the service is excellent. One thing I always look at when I eat at places I have been going to for awhile is, consistency. 15 years ago the food was good and fast forward in the Hot Tub Time Machine to present day and the food is still is very good. I had a cup of the Red Beans and Rice for a starter ( see my porn pic). Nice chucks of pork with good flavor. I added some Franks Hot Sauce and Tabasco for an extra kick. Next I had the Louisiana Garlic Shrimp Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing. Really beautiful plump shrimps layered over romaine lettuce with tomatoes and onions. For good measure I added some Franks Hot Sauce to the salad, I'm sick huh, lol and it was awesome. If you are looking for fancy, go somewhere else. Chez has good solid food, service, and vibe. Remember to tell Dario ( one of the owners) that Dan sent you. Stay Hungry!

Great food, good beer, reasonable prices. Try the Cajun Muscles but stay away from the raspberry bbq sauce. Wings are dynamite. Ribs were boiled before roasting, which is a no-no in my opinion, but they were tasty.

  • Taj M.

This place has the most disgusting BBQ. The sauce taste old and the mash potatoes was sour. I can not believe they would serve the food there to another human. It was horrible! Please do yourself a favor and do not eat here!

  • Craig B.

First, why all the firve star reviews? Five stars should rarely, if ever, be awarded to any restaurant. Most foodies disregard five star reviews so you're hurting the restaurant and your credibility as a reviewer. This place is a hole in the wall with okay food. The decor is general clutter with a New Orleans theme, sort of. No restaurants in New Orleans are decorated like this and no restaurants in New Orleans serve this kind of food. While the food we tried is decent, there is nothing Cajun about this place. The gumbo is not gumbo. It's tasty but it's chicken and okra in tomato soup. The coconut soup is also okay. The chicken wings are very good and there is plenty of variety. Our favorites are the oriental, jerk, and rasberry. The house wine is terrible. It's so easy to find wine that is inexpensive but still drinkable, we love cheap wine but have never tasted anything this bad, and for 7 bucks a glass no less. I hope the owners read this and take it as constructive criticism, not a bashing. Chez Porky does some things well and if they would address some minor problems, could be a hidden gem. We will go back when in need of some wings but it's not so good that it will be the only place for wings. Staff is friendly but the place is dirty and so is the kitchen. If they want to maintain their kitchen in that condition, they should block it from view. The prices are a little high for a wing dive. Two-and-a-half stars

  • Dan G.

Loved it. Laid back atmosphere but good food. I had the shredded pork over rice. It was very good. The baked beans and coleslaw or just a little average.

  • James C.

This is where the locals eat, nothing fancy but, Great food if you're tired of the same old food from those other commercial places. portions are good and the price is right on. Menu has just about everything to offer, not just BBQ and chicken wings, they are big and very tasty if ya want just wings. Specials are listed on the board. Jerk pork, or Mahi Mahi, Chicken,or Shrimp. Everything is Great. Tom & Dario no wonder you have been in the same place for so long, ya got it right and the food is Excellent.

I was introduced to this gem over 10 years ago by a friend while I was attending law school. Since then I have sung the praises of this restaurant and have returned several times with any friend/relative that would be wiling to take the drive up from Miami to Pompano with me. The main draw for me here are the wings. But not just any wings. The salt, pepper and vinegar wings in particular. I love this sauce. For me, the wings are merely a vehicle to get that sauce in my mouth. Don't get me wrong, the wings themselves are crispy and delicious, albeit not particularly huge and meaty. But that sauce... Oh man. Other sauces such as the buffalo are good, although the raspberry sauce is too sweet for my taste. I've rarely strayed from eating the wings here, but the other items on the menu do not disappoint. The coconut soup and the cajun/blackened mussels in particular are delicious.

    (4)
  • Michael M.

Nothing here is great but everything is consistently good. Try the chili. Big chunks of smoked sausage give it a little something special. If you can't decide what to get, go with the wing sampler.., 4 sets of 4 wings, each set with a different sauce.

Had dinner tonite, food was good but service was lousy. We sat down & were the only patrons. Waitress came over acted like we were disturbing her, very short & couldn't wait to get back & sit & yap with the other servers. Did not come around until she had to serve something & then almost tossed food on table & shot back to sit & talk. Dropped bill off & never came back, had to get up & go find her so we could pay! While paying, listened to another waitress get testy with someone placing an order, she was upset because she had to answer food questions. Owner needs to dump these people before they drive all the business away. We enjoyed the food but probably not go back. It's too bad, they're close & food has a unique flare to it.

chicken wings were delicious! the bbq chicken was forgettable and dry, collard greens and cole slaw tasty but the wings were awesome, prob should have stayed safe and ordered pork in a bbq place. lesson learned. but the different delicious flavors for the wings are awesome! try the chicken wing sampler on the app menu to be able to try 4 diff flavors! love that the owner is Polish and has a few Polish bottled beers to choose from!

  • Jay M.

For a place with BBQ in the name, I saw very little actual que on the menu. More of a mishmash of food designed to appeal to older residents. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was okay, but was not smoked in any way. Big portions, I was satisfied with a sandwich and some coleslaw. Service was pathetic, and our food took a long time to come out. I won't be returning.

different style wings that really aren't bad at all. I prefer the traditional Buffalo and extreme hot but this is a nice change of pace - very local too.

Just like the original in Pompano, but you'll feel like you're in the Big Easy instead. Beautiful space with a full bar. All the favorites of the original, but up in Wellington instead. If you're north, go here!

Believe the saying "Looks can be deceiving" when you come across this place ! Hidden among the warehouse district in Pompano is Chez Porky's . One blink and you'll miss it but trust me, you will seriously regret it if you do ! I just happen to be driving by and the name caught my attention. Was it french cuisine ? A BBQ place ? I just had to stop and so very glad I did. I was with a couple of people and we each ordered our own thing, We Started with the fried okra that served hot, crispy with a tangy dipping sauce. I had one of their lunch specials for the day which was the Jamaican Jerk pull pork sandwich. Word to the wise, the sandwich packs a punch on the spice level but I could not put it down ! Because I'm a glutton for punishment, I added a dollop of their homemade bbq sauce. I was sweating & my mouth was on fire by the time I finished but well worth the pain ! I worked backwards and asked for a cup of their caribbean coconut soup. WOW can not even come close ti what my taste buds experienced. My best friend had the blackened steak served with mash potatoes and mixed veggies and a lemon butter sauce on the side for dipping. The tartness of the dipping sauce with the slight saltiness of the blackened steak was a great compliment. I can't recall the name of the dish my son had, it was 2 very hearty sized chicken breast smothered in a sauce with artichokes , The chicken was moist , perhaps a little too much sauce on top but delicious none the less. For dessert we shared the Kentucky Derby pie ala mode. I couldn't tell you exactly what's in it. I could see some chocolate chips in it and I could taste just a light inkling of coconut. It's served warm with a huge scoop of french vanilla ice cream. I really didn't want to share it but then again, I wasn't treating for lunch !!!! I see they have a variety of wings on their menu. Can't wait to be in this part or town again, I know what I'm having next time around, Oh yeah by the way I took a quart if the caribbean coconut soup home as well.

I was visiting family in the Lauderdale area from Chicago and wanted to have a little barbecue while I was visiting. The raspberry BBQ sauce was good but that's about all I liked. The full slab rib portion seemed a bit dried out and was more bone than meat. It comes with two sides and a salad. The corn was good but the baked beans were very bland. For about $22 it was pretty disappointing.

  • Molly M.

Been going here for many years, now that I don't live here anymore, I only get to dream about it while I'm away. Now I'm back for a visit and went straight there. The wings are always good, medium is the perfect heat, but can vary a bit. Raspberry, Lemon Garlic, and Buffalo are all the best!!!

The key word for why I like this place is "flavor." It's a hole in the wall, somewhat divey mom and pop operation with a rather hokie, corny, contrived Louisiana décor but with some real good tones of Southern Louisiana flavor to its food offerings. I had the blackened mussels ($7.50) special, the flavor of which was simply superb and the Tilapia piccata ($10.50). Though the place has barbecue in the name, the really isn't all that much "Q" in their offerings. Most go here for their chicken wings which come in a variety of flavors including BBQ, Raspberry, and garlic along with a host of others. A lot of people are big fans of them, but I am not since I favor a true Buffalo style. That and because I've generally found their wings to be skinny, boney and with the appearance of being poultry snatch out of the hands of a malnourish refugee. As for the hole in the wall appearance of the Chez, don't let that deter you. In my opinion it actually adds a degree of character to what the place is meant to be as well as for the food it serves.

I've been excited to try this place because I love a good hole in the wall! Chez Porky's doesn't disappoint. First of all our waitress, Amanda was friendly, funny and actually talked me into changing my order from the blackened mussels to the Cajun mussels. Boy was she right! They were out of sight, moist and flavorful and like no mussels I've eaten before. I also had a cup of coconut soup which was recommended on Yelp, and was extremely light and tasty. I will order a bowl next time. We also ordered the Cajun shrimp which was alright. The salad you get with your meal was just eh. Overall this place is a great treat and a value for the money.

I went here for lunch based on the Yelp reviews. It was fairly crowded with obvious regulars, which is always a good sign. The prices were good. The service was great. I liked the mom-and-pop feel to the place. However, the food was just okay. It was traditional comfort food without much creativity or spice. Our meals could have easily passed one of my mother-in-law's homemade meals, but she's from the Midwest and cooks accordingly. If you like traditional comfort foods, you'll like this place. As for me, I think there's better options in the area.

Wings tasty but drowning in sauce. Gumbo was not edible. Soup was OK. Ice Tea was excellent . Very dull menu and no relation to the excellent food in the New Orleans area. Polish owner should turn it into a Polish restaurant.

I've eaten here before and can't understand all the fanfare. Forget about what the place looks like, little things bother me. I ordered the raspberry hot wings with blue cheese and the blue cheese was water like. Yes the wings were of good quality and yes the raspberry is offset by the hot spice but the blue cheese element was ruined. Next the soft drink was dead and water down. Lastly I ordered the Cajun pork chop and it came off the grill not blackened. I'll try again for I want desperately this whole Louisiana style cooking

We have been going to Chez Porkys for over 20 years. We decided to go again last night with some friends that usually attend there with us. Upon getting our appetizers of rice and beans we noticed something drastically different. Flavor was not the same . The we ordered our staple selection wing sampler. To our disappointment everything was different there as well. They now toss the wings in the sauces, which makes the soggy. The flavors didn't taste the same either. I asked if they had new owners , our waitress said yes. Why mess with success. I hate to say but this was probably our last time going. Dario you will be missed!

Only my 2nd time visiting...and it was again delish! We started with the southern fried pickles. Awesome! Not greasy and perfectly sliced where you can still taste the pickle. They came with a horseradish sauce that I could have ate on its own. I had the raspberry wings. So yummy! Husband had the seafood gumbo, spicy. He loved it. Perfectly spiced. Dessert was okay....nothing special, but not bad. Service was awesome. Lots of regulars, but we were treated like we were regulars too...we would be if it wasn't so far from our home. Everything that passed us looked good and fresh. It's a little hole in the wall...very clean...everyone was super friendly...looking forward to our next trip.

My coworker introduced me to this place via the steak sandwich. Seriously mouthwatering delicious! Perfectly chopped and cooked, with a spicy dressing. The coleslaw and corn fritters are really good also. The place is a locals place, down home where the food speaks for itself!
